Our people have always gathered.
We sit together, yarn, listen, laugh and this is where also knowledge was taught.
‘Where We Meet’ celebrates those spaces of connection.
The meetings places through out this artwork represent family and community.
For me, gathering is about more that physically being in the same place. It is about feeling seen and knowing where you belong.
Medium: Acrylic Paint.
Presentation: Stretched on Canvas with floating frame
